At Verblio, our writers strive to create engaging, top-notch content for your readers. But we also know how important it is for your content to show up in the top search results to attract readers in the first place.

That’s why the request page allows you to add SEO requirements for the following content types: blog posts and web content.

We've chosen the most important aspects of search engine optimization and added them as optional fields so you can clearly and effortlessly communicate your SEO needs to your writers.

Writers will incorporate your SEO instructions into their work so you can publish the content right away and feel confident that they rank well in search results.

How to Add SEO Requirements to Your Requests

Navigate to the Request page. Click “Add new request” and choose your desired content-type:

Click “Add SEO Requirements”:

A menu will appear with optional SEO fields. You aren’t required to fill out every single field, but the more information you provide the writers, the better content you will receive!

A Guide to the SEO Requirements Fields

Below is a guide to each field on the SEO Requirements menu. You don't need to complete every single field, but choose the ones that are most appropriate for your content request and SEO goals.

Focus Keyword(s)

Add any keywords that should be included in your piece of content here. If you are targeting multiple keywords, we suggest that you add your primary keyword first, and separate additional keywords with commas. Our writers will naturally incorporate them into their writing and use the primary keyword in the title unless you instruct them otherwise.

Internal Link

Would you like writers to include a link to another page on your site? (Tip: we recommend including at least one internal link to guide readers to additional content and increase engagement!)

Use this field to provide the URL and anchor text for your internal link. The anchor text should be a descriptive word or phrase to tell readers where the link will take them.

Include External Links?

We recommend that you include relevant, reputable sources from other websites in your articles. These external links add credibility to your content (for readers and search engines alike!).

Searcher Intent

What are searchers trying to accomplish when they perform the search that you hope your piece of content will rank for? Providing this context to writers will help ensure that your content solves for searcher intent.

Other SEO Notes

Do you have more instructions for our writers that our SEO fields don’t cover? No problem! Use this field for any other SEO guidelines including:

  • Preferred keyword usage

  • Acceptable sites to link to

  • Unacceptable sites to link to

  • Context for your internal link

  • Date ranges for articles to link to
