Anyone who runs a business will know that a build-up of credits can create major financial uncertainty. Additionally, for our business, accounts with a large build-up of credits can scare away writers, making it more difficult to receive timely, consistent content.

Thus, Verblio customers have six months to use up credits before they expire. We always use your oldest credits first and will use these credits to purchase content on your behalf if you have submissions available for purchase.

Here’s everything you need to know about credit expiration:

Credit Expiration

All active Verblio plans are subject to credit expiration at six months. Credits will expire after being unused for six months. If you have submissions at the time of expiration, we will automatically send a piece of content rather than expire your credit. If none are available, the credit will otherwise expire without any content.

Please note that all canceled subscriptions expire after 30 days, along with any remaining credits. Canceled customers have 30 days from the cancellation date to use their remaining content credits before they expire. You can read more about canceling your subscription here.

Verblio Notifications

If you have one or more credits that are older than six months, we’ll send you an email in advance to let you know exactly how many credits are about to expire and when they will be scheduled to expire.

How to Use Your Credits

There are a few actions you can take to prevent your post credits from expiring:

Accept Submission: Log in to your account and review the content on your Submissions page. If you have submissions that you like and want to purchase, go ahead and accept them now and use your content credits before they expire.

Activate Requests: To receive more content and use your credits, make sure you have active requests on your account (without requests, writers cannot write content for you!). Add requests to your account by simply logging in and heading to your requests tab.
